I think that this is one of my best pieces of photography. In this picture some successful rules of composition i used are cropping. The cropping on this picture is successful because i eliminated all of the unnecessary details around the person in the picture. Another rule of composition that is used in this picture is angle of view. I think the angle of view makes this picture interesting because it isnt taken directly in front of the person in the picture. There were a couple principles of design that were used to make this picture a good one. The first principle used is contrast. There is a variety of contrast in this picture of darks and whites with a little gray. Another principle used in this picture is emphasis which is on the face of the person in the picture because that is what the viewer is drawn to when they view this photo.
