I chose this as my best photo because i think it has alot of diffrent techniques in it. I used rule of thirds, anfle of view, and interesting leading lines and focal point. Rule of thirds was used by the focal point (the reflection) being in the top right corner instead of being dead center. My angle of view is interesting because at any other angle i wouldn't have gotten the same reflection that really makes the picture, also mounting it upside down to have the reflection on top adds to the angle makuing the reflection stand out. Then my focal point is interesting becase it is the reflection not the reality and the leading lines are the patterns in the water and also the edge of the water which frames the reflection. I think that contrast is my best principle because it does have the lights and darks but also the contrast of the dark reflection and the light person makes the reflection stand out and gives the picture more principles, and without the contrast none of the other principals would be there.
